What is hot and cold stone massage? If done properly, some of the finest bodywork on the planet! A Stone Spirits, massage uses approximately 84 stones of varying temperatures, sizes and shapes to manipulate the musculature and connective tissues as well as stones in placements under and on top of clients. This creates a true stone experience, utilizing the stones for every aspect of the treatment rather than just a few stones added to a regular massage. The heat from the warm basalt stones penetrates deeply to help loosen and sooth tightened, congested muscles. The cool marble stones are used to reduce inflammation and create a balanced and rejuvenating treatment. In this work we have drawn from Eastern and Western disciplines and techniques.
