This picture is from an article in the Times, the picture features my oil painting of my husband's dog Flint. Gillian - Early in my career I painted wildlife, but once you've painted several mice and smaller wildlife there isn't much of a challenge to capturing their character anymore. So I progressed to children and family pets. Gillian offers children and animal portraits with a realistic background that is often overlooked. Gillian's home studio is just outside Chichester in West Sussex. A tight brief and she'll be happy. "I enjoy being told what's wanted, I really do enjoy meeting people to discuss their portrait requirements". Gillian gets a huge buzz from her clients when she sees their reaction when they first see her creation in real life. She says. "I'm not one of those artists who always wants to do their own thing. I enjoy meeting people and supplying what they want."
