All-In-One Service: Mosaic Sphere will oversee all the aspects of mosaic planning and construction including: proposal, estimates, design, implementation, and, in most cases, installation of the project.
Our educational efforts have lead to hundreds of people learning to appreciate and to make mosaics on their own, and to distinguish the quality of pieces that demonstrate the skill and the intellect of the artist. Students learn that mosaics are a form of an artistic expression, just like a painting, or prints, or sculpture.
Types
of Mosaics We Offer:
Large Scale Fine Art Mosaics
These mosaics are made for public areas, such as walls, parks, lobbies of buildings, places of gatherings. Our current project is a mosaic mural for the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens. The official Dedication ceremony of 8 panels depicting the state of Michigan eco-system is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, at 11:30 am. The "Chippewa Creek", a 116 sq ft (8'x14.5') mosaic mural for the Medina District Public Library in Medina, Ohio opened to the public in January 2008.
Architectural Mosaics
Architectural mosaics include back-splashes, bathroom murals, wall murals, and other decorative elements that add glamour to an architectural space. Private and public clients are welcome. This is all-in-one service and it includes: project design, implementation, and (upon request of a client) installation.
